At Greenvale we breed Wessex Saddlebacks and Berkshires in a true free range environment. The Berkshire being heralded as the Wagyu of the pork world and ours comes without the wagyu price tag. Our Pork is naturally moist and tender and does not require moisture injection.
So the question is: It's a Rare Breed so why would you eat it? Answer: In addition to it being mega tasty, by eating rare breed you are actually helping to save the breed.
Greenvale Pork offers something really special, rare-breed, free-range heritage pork with amazing flavor and juiciness. Our Berkshire and Wessex Saddleback pigs are kept in outdoor paddocks with access to green feed and lots of apples!
